Can you believe it's already October? We're just a month away from the Election and in just a few weeks, early voting will begin.
So, how do you make sure you're registered and your vote counts? Here's what you will need to do if you plan to vote in Bexar County in the joint general, special, and bond election on Nov. 8.
1. Get registered (Or make sure you're registered)
To register with Bexar County you'll need to verify your eligibility. Then pick up a voter registration application, fill it out completely and legibly, and return it to the Voter Registration Office at least 30 days before the election date. For more information on this, visit http://www.bexar.org/1702/Register-to-Vote.
Pretty sure you're already registered? You can make sure here: http://apps.bexar.org/ElectionSearch/ElectionSearch.aspx?psearchtab=0.
2. Get an early start (Early Voting)
Early Voting begins Monday, Oct. 24, and ends Friday, Nov. 4. The main Early Voting location is at the Bexar County Elections Department at 1103 S. Frio Street, but there are dozens of locations that you can access that may be closer to you. For that complete list, click or tap this PDF form for the complete list of locations. You'll also find the hours of Early Voting listed on that form.
3. Get educated (and share the knowledge!)
